ABOUT LIGHTHOUSE MARINA ON LAKE CHAMPLAIN
A family-run marina operation featuring state of the art aluminum docks and moorings for sail or power boats up to 65'. In the spring, summer, and fall, our peaceful harbor gets stunning sunrises and golden hours galore – tie up and lounge on the deck or throw a burger on the grill.
In the winter, we offer outside storage for boats from 16' to 65' utilizing our 60-ton Marine Travelift, 20-ton Hostar hydraulic OTR boat trailer, or hydraulic cradle trailer.
Come back throughout the season to see what changes we're making! Lake Champlain's famous flood hit just weeks after the marina changed hands (learn more about the 2011 Lake Champlain flood on our blog), and we still have a checklist of updates we're working our way through.
ABOUT ROUSES POINT
Rouses Point, New York, is a village in the Town of Champlain with ~2,200 residents. While mid-winter can be brutally cold – a week or two of the year hits -20 degrees (-45 with windchill) – the summers make it worth it, staying 5-15 degrees cooler than Boston and western Massachusetts.
The village is easy to approach via boat, a straight shot north once you're past Isle La Motte. By car, Rouses Point splits the uprights between routes 89 and 87. Either way, cell signal in the North Country is currently getting upgraded by the state, so be sure to download the relevant maps before you get on the road.
